Times and Places, the latest exhibition showcasing the archive of Barbara Rae CBE RA is open this summer from 22 June to 8 September at The Maclaurin Art Gallery in Ayr.

The comprehensive catalogue produced highlights key pieces that will be on display. Featuring early Scottish paintings before travelling to Ireland, Spain and back once again to Rae’s beloved Lammermuir Hills just outside of Edinburgh.

An introduction and essay by Professor Duncan Macmillan FRSA FRSE HRSA delves into how Rae has perceived and interpreted the land throughout her career and how she continues to record the memory of the landscape.
