Elín Jakobsdóttir (born 1968), is an Icelandic painter and filmmaker based in Glasgow, where she did her BA and MFA in Fine Art and also studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.

Commissions and works in public collection include The Louvre, Paris; Leeds Museums and Art Galleries; Stills, Edinburgh and Glasgow School of Art. Elín was the winner of the Benno Schotz prize in 1992.
